A Lawyer Cries Out
I found this in my memories. Lawyers in the house, this one is for you.
------
This Law profession doesn't help at all. My normally blunt and truthful person has had to twist the fact more that once to make my client's case better.
I now understand parents who refuse to allow their children study Law.
*******
Lawyers, how do you balance law practice with your faith/beliefs? What do you do when a prospective client whom, by your beliefs, is guilty approaches you for legal representation?
Practical examples, please...
Below are the responses I got in the original post. You can either leave a comment or send an email if you have something to add or ask.
Commenter 1
Advise him to plead guilty
Commenter 2:
That's a terrible one. You get a good case. Usually plead guilty is the last resort, unless the evidence is overwhelming.
Commenter 1:
That's my stand as a lawyer
Aftermath I will pray the court for leniency.
Trying to get your client a better chance may lead to a jure suo cadunt
